In November we hold a cluster of services, all of which have the theme of Remembering at their heart.

Our All Saints' Day Choral Eucharist and All Souls' tide Commemoration of the Faithful Departed on 4th November remembering those who have touched our lives but are now departed; Remembrance Sunday on 11th November, particularly poignant as the centenary of the Armistice falls on the same day; & our annual Journalists' Service on 20th November at which we commemorate the journalists, camera-crew, photographers and support staff whose mission it is to bring us the news. #Journalist_Service    Further Information

St Bride's, Fleet Street is a warm and welcoming Christian community, and one of the most famous and most fascinating historic churches in Central London.

St Bride's is known worldwide as the Journalists' Church, offering a spiritual home to all who work in the media. However, our ministry extends to everyone who lives and works within our parish, and to the thousands of visitors who come to us every year. Our beautiful Wren church provides a place of peace and a spiritual haven in the heart of the city for all who come. With one of the best professional choirs in the country, we are also well known for the outstanding quality of our music and of the worship we offer.

A place of Christian worship for 1500 years, we continue to proclaim the love of God here. Whether journalist, tourist, City resident or worker, you will always be made welcome.

A Space For Silence

St Bride's church provides a space for silence every weekday evening between 5 and 6pm; a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Fleet Street and the City of London.

You are welcome to join us and come and go as you please.

Commune with your own heart ... and be still (Psalm 4:4)

October 22

'May the Lord make us love one another and the whole human race.' (1Thessalonians 3:12)

The Christian faith is inclusive, reaching out lovingly to embrace all of God's creation. Many religions exist side by side in our society, and some are tempted to look for deficiencies in other belief systems. But Christians believe that sparks of divine truth exist in all the major religions. We are called to love God and our neighbor, and so promote unity between communities.

Lord, Grant us the wisdom to see you in all people, to follow you and to work for the good of all regardless of race, gender, religion or culture. Amen.
