St Bride's, Fleet Street is a warm and welcoming Christian community, and one of the most famous and most fascinating historic churches in Central London.

St Bride's is known worldwide as the Journalists' Church, offering a spiritual home to all who work in the media. However, our ministry extends to everyone who lives and works within our parish, and to the thousands of visitors who come to us every year. Our beautiful Wren church provides a place of peace and a spiritual haven in the heart of the city for all who come. With one of the best professional choirs in the country, we are also well known for the outstanding quality of our music and of the worship we offer.

A place of Christian worship for 1500 years, we continue to proclaim the love of God here. Whether journalist, tourist, City resident or worker, you will always be made welcome.

You are welcome to join us and come and go as you please.

'You will be able to tell them by their fruits' (Matthew 7: 20)

Jesus points out that it is only by its fruits that a tree's true quality can be identified. Outward appearances and a superficial appreciation can be misleading. Our true characters are revealed in how we live our lives, in the things we do and in the difference we make within the constraints of our own circumstances. Our choices in life can determine whether we are open and accepting people, or narrow-minded and judgemental, whether we are loving or bitter. Actions usually speak louder than words, and carry more weight than first impressions.

Lord, help me to avoid judging others rather than making the effort to discover their inner beauty and value, known and loved by you. Amen.
