Attend in Person or Online

In line with the easing of restrictions, we are delighted that our weekly services of Choral Eucharist and Choral Evensong have resumed live in church each Sunday at 11am and 5:30pm respectively.

We are continuing to stream services online both for those in our regular congregation who cannot attend in person and for our growing online community across the world.

Services are streamed as live on Facebook and YouTube. They are released concurrently to be listened to at any time on this website in Listen Online, on SoundCloud & as the "St Bride's Church" podcast.

St Bride's, Fleet Street is a warm and welcoming Christian community, and one of the most famous and most fascinating historic churches in Central London.

St Bride's is known worldwide as the Journalists' Church, offering a spiritual home to all who work in the media. However, our ministry extends to everyone who lives and works within our parish, and to the thousands of visitors who come to us every year. Our beautiful Wren church provides a place of peace and a spiritual haven in the heart of the city for all who come. With one of the best professional choirs in the country, we are also well known for the outstanding quality of our music and of the worship we offer.

A place of Christian worship for 1500 years, we continue to proclaim the love of God here. Whether journalist, tourist, City resident or worker, you will always be made welcome.
Alison Joyce, Rector of St Bride's

'Yes Lord, I believe that you are the Christ.' (John 11: 27)

These words are spoken by Martha, who in Luke's Gospel appears as a very practical woman associated with the kitchen and housework. Here she seems to have heard what Jesus said to her, and responds by acknowledging Jesus as Lord. Just because you are a practically minded person doesn't mean you can't also be close to God. However busy we are in our everyday activities we are invited to find a little space in which to be open to God.

Lord, just as you received the hospitality and care of Martha and Mary, we pray that we too may give you enough space in our busy lives so that we can listen to your voice. Amen.
