St Bride's, Fleet Street is a warm and welcoming Christian community, and one of the most famous and most fascinating historic churches in Central London.

St Bride's is known worldwide as the Journalists' Church, offering a spiritual home to all who work in the media. However, our ministry extends to everyone who lives and works within our parish, and to the thousands of visitors who come to us every year. Our beautiful Wren church provides a place of peace and a spiritual haven in the heart of the city for all who come. With one of the best professional choirs in the country, we are also well known for the outstanding quality of our music and of the worship we offer.

A place of Christian worship for 1500 years, we continue to proclaim the love of God here today. Whether journalist, tourist, City resident or worker, you will always be made very welcome.Alison Joyce

'Stay awake'... (Matthew 25:13)

The first Christians felt a great urgency about the Gospel. People had to make up their minds about Jesus and not put off making a decision. Then we are called to stay alert, and not to lose our focus. Commitment to prayer, acknowledging Christ's presence in our lives will help our faith deepen and flourish and so keep us fully awake to what God is doing.

Lord Jesus, help us to be aware of your presence at the heart of all we do, keep us alert and prepared for your Kingdom when the time comes. Amen.
