ChurchwardensThe Office of Churchwarden is an ancient one dating from the thirteenth century. Their role is to represent the laity, to maintain order in the church and churchyard, to be responsible for the goods and ornaments of the church, and to co-operate with the incumbent in promoting the mission of the church. They are chosen at the annual meeting of parishioners, and serve for a period of up to six years.
