Chris Hooker - Soprano Saxophone
The leader of the quartet, Chris's career has been in Music Education.  He plays alto sax with the RAFA President's Band, Northolt, and baritone sax with the Middlesex Yeomanry Band, Hampton, and is an occasional player with the City of London Symphonic Winds. He also plays music from the 30's to the 50's on sax and clarinet in Saxswing, and performs in the poetry and clarinet duo Wind and Words.

Bob Lowdell - Alto Saxophone
After studying Clarinet and Saxophone at the Guildhall School of Music, he worked professionally playing Clarinet and Saxophone in theatre pit orchestras up and down the country. He worked with people such as Ken Dodd, the Walker Brothers, Billy Fury, Val Doonican and many more. Bob took a second career as a music copyist, and over the years has turned out a huge number of scores for both TV and film.

Martyn Thomas - Tenor Saxophone
After originally learning the Clarinet at secondary school, Martyn then expanded his playing with the Flute / Piccolo and then the Tenor Saxophone.  He has played with the Central Band of the Royal British Legion, The Linden Wind Orchestra and the Thameside Clarinet Choir, and is currently a member of the Middlesex Yeomanry Concert Band and the Great Western Railway Band.

Geoff Williams - Baritone Saxophone
Geoff studied flute at the Royal College of Music, and was a founder member of the London Saxophone Quartet from1968 to 1970 before joining the Joe Loss Orchestra in 1972. He has played in many West End shows, accompanied several Royal Variety performances, and has toured with Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross & the Supremes, Gene Pitney, and Isaac Hayes.

River City Saxes
River City Saxes is a saxophone quartet that plays music ranging from classical and contemporary works to light music and swing. Formed in October 2008, the quartet has fulfilled many engagements across London and Surrey, and is currently presenting a series of lunchtime recitals in London churches.
