      Prelude in B minor

      Master Tallis' Testament

Finale (Symphony no. 6 in G minor)

Peter Dutton was born in 1981. He began his musical life as a chorister at Magdalen College Oxford, and subsequently attended Magdalen College School. He began learning the organ when he was thirteen, and in 2000 he took up an organ scholarship at Trinity College Oxford, where he read Theology. After graduating in 2003, he was successively organ scholar of All Saints' Margaret Street in London, and St Philip's Cathedral Birmingham.

In 2005, Peter was appointed Organist & Director of Music at Bexhill Parish Church of St. Peter in East Sussex, one of the very few parish churches outside London to maintain a fully choral tradition. In his four years there, he led the choir on tours to Ripon, Peterborough, Wells and Norwich cathedrals, as well as directing the choir in services at (amongst others) St Paul's, Westminster and Canterbury cathedrals.

In 2009 Peter moved to Christ's Hospital Horsham, where he is School Organist (presiding over four organs including a 5 manual Rushworth & Dreaper!), a member of the music department, and a house tutor.

Peter holds qualifications in both organ playing and choral direction from the Royal College of Organists, and in 2009 he completed an M.Mus degree from Canterbury Christ Church University. In 2010 he founded The Gibbons Consort, a semi-professional chamber choir that performs English church music in its liturgical context. As a recitalist he has performed at a number of prestigious venues all over the country, including Westminster Cathedral, Worcester Cathedral and Magdalen College Oxford.  He plans to record his first solo CD next year.
