Chris Lloyd is currently studying for a Masters of Music at the Royal Academy of Music under principal tutor Rustem Hayroudinoff. He recently completed a Bachelor of Music with Honors (First Class) at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, Adelaide, studying with Lucinda Collins. He was part of the highly acclaimed Menage a Trio, who in 2011 toured New Zealand in conjunction with the Adelaide Fringe. In 2010, Chris featured as a soloist for the Adelaide Youth Orchestra, performing Poulenc's Concert Champetre. In 2009 and 2011, he was awarded the Diana Harris Award for Accompanying, and in 2011 he was awarded joint first place in the Lance Dossor Memorial Award, and also first prize in the prestigious John Davis Classical Music Award. He is supported by the Elder Conservatorium of Music's EMR Scholarship, and the Ian Potter Cultural Trust.
