Biography
Gisela Meyer was born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.  She studied piano and cello in Frankfurt and piano solo in Weimar.  In London, she obtained a Masters in Performance (accompaniment) at the GSMD.  Presently, is studying singing privately with Jessica Cash.
Gisela works as pianist, accompanist and teacher privately and for the City Lit. Gisela performs regularly in concerts as a soloist and in ensembles, as a pianist as well as a singer.
In her work as composer, Gisela has written and recorded music for four short films and two feature films by Erdogan Gilgil (www.movingculturefilm.com).
This year, Gisela has started to work with Baluji Shrivastav, a well-known Indian musician and is the pianist for his production "Sohine and Mahival", which was performed in May 2015 at the Southbank Centre as part of the Alchemy Festival.
