Born in Italy in 1989, Alvise Pascucci started studying the piano at the age of four and displayed exceptional talent despite his young age. At the age of five he started participating in competitions; to date he boasts over 60 first prizes obtained in national and international competitions. In June 2000 he represented Italy in the prestigious Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition in Salt Lake City, USA, reaching the semi-final.

In addition to the piano, Alvise started to learn the violin at the age of nine (studying with Claudio Cavalieri), demonstrating his musical versatility. He participated in masterclasses with illustrious violin and piano virtuosos including: S. Perticaroli, F. Zadra, F. Scala, L. Cerroni, M. Herrera, Y. Lepore, F. Libetta, A. Specchi, U. Ughi, M. Tortorelli, I. Polesintsky, S. Milenkovic, C. Rossi, M. Damerini, V. Balzani, W. Kraft, D. Rivera, and H. Moreno. In 2011 he won the Banca Monte Dei Paschi Siena prize as best student of  summer course of Joaquín Achúcarro at Chigiana Musical Academy.

Having received significant acclaim for his participation in masterclasses, he was offered recitals across Italy. He has played as soloist with several orchestras including Orchestra Città di Grosseto, the Taipei Philarmonia Orchestra and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Ploiesti in Romania under the baton of Radu Postavaru. In May 2007 he toured the USA, including a recital at the University of Illinois on violin and piano at the invitation of the famous robotics surgeon Pier Cristoforo Giulianotti.

Having graduated in September 2006 from "S.Cecilia" conservatoire in Rome on violin, Alvise began to concentrate his studies on the piano. In July 2007 he received a first class diploma with honours and honourable mention from the Institute "Rinaldo Franci" of Siena, before receiving a first class concert degree in piano from "P.Mascagni" institute in Livorno in 2010. In 2011 he started studying in the "Incontri col Maestro" Piano Academy in Imola with Riccardo Risaliti, and he relocated to London in September 2012 to continue his musical education under the supervision of Martino Tirimo at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where he obtained his Postgraduate Artist Diploma with distinction.
