Aino Konkka trained at Lahti University of Applied Sciences in her native Finland, and lives currently in London. She has performed at Grange Park Opera, Longborough Festival Opera, Hampstead Garden Opera, Grimeborn Festival at Arcola Theatre, South Downs Opera and Barefoot Opera. Her operatic roles include 3rd Lady and 3rd Boy in Mozart's Magic Flute, Lady Bertram in Jonathan Dove's Mansfield Park, Bradamante in Handel/Foggitt's Alcina, Valletto in Monteverdi's L'incoronazione di Poppea, Dido in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, Prince Orlofsky in J. Strauss's Die Fledermaus and Suora Zelatrice in Puccini's Suor Angelica. She appears on film as Bradamante in Nichola Bruce's Alcina Pale Shadows. As a concert soloist, she has performed Handel Messiah, Mozart Requiem, Duruflé Requiem, Vivaldi Gloria, Copland In the Beginning and Pergolesi Stabat mater. She continues her singing studies with Jenny Miller in London.

Richard Black's work as a pianist takes in opera, the symphony orchestra, chamber music and song recitals. He has helped rehearse operas from Purcell to the 21st century. He is a familiar face at opera auditions, and he frequently accompanies students of every voice and instrument at Goldsmiths College. In performance, Richard has played for singers at Wigmore Hall and St John's Smith Square, as well as in New York, Paris and Luxembourg. He has accompanied a wide range of instrumental works and played in a variety of chamber ensembles. He has accompanied on several CDs and has broadcast on BBC Radio 3. Richard is also an experienced recording engineer, producer and editor and a consultant on audio technology.
