Francesca Fargion was born in London in 1992. She studied music at Goldsmiths University, and graduated with a 1st class honors in 2015. She is currently on the Masters course at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where her teachers are Laura Roberts and Peter Bithell. She is also studying privately with South African concert pianist Tessa Uys. Recent solo recitals include the Foundling Museum and Deptford Town Hall. She also has a keen engagement with contemporary music, collaborating with several young composers at both institutions, and has performed works by renowned English composer Chris Newman, in Hastings, London and Bologna. She has been a member of a Six Pianos ensemble, based in London, which performed works by Steve Reich, Conlon Nancarrow and Graham Fitkin. Francesca is also currently studying Music Therapy at Roehampton University.
