Songs Before Sleep

En-Chi Wu graduated from Freiburg Musikhochschule (Germany) in 2015. She is currently a postgraduate student at the Royal Academy of Music, studying piano accompaniment under Michael Dussek, James Baillieu and Andrew West. En-Chi's previous concert appearances include performances at Marylebone Parish Church for the 'Music for the Moment' series with violinist Caitlin Johnson, Theatre Royal Stratford East for the musical 'Rag', and the Royal Academy of Music for the English Song Prize competition. En-Chi is also the designer of a 'Music Diary' which has been sold in Academy Chimes and Barbican Chimes Music store since 2016. En-Chi is currently partway through a series of concerts playing all of the Beethoven piano and violin sonatas. She is also a member of the Academy's Song Circle.

Dan Chuang (Ching Chun Chuang) is currently studying at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance as a 1st year postgraduate student. In 2010, he was awarded a full scholarship to study at the Birmingham Conservatoire with French violinist Nathaniel Vallois. He is a member of the Xuen String Quartet, and has performed with it in many concert venues. He and his piano quartet were also finalists for the 2012 Birmingham Conservatoire Chamber Music Prize. In 2014 he won second prize in the Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra Concerto Competition, and second prize in the 24th Cittci di Barletta Solo Violin Category D. He was also a finalist in the Internationaler Königin Sophie Charlotte Meisterkurs für Violine in 2015.

Joey Edwards is a baritone studying at the Royal Academy of Music. Joey sang as a chorister at St George's Chapel, Windsor, where he performed at the wedding blessing of Prince Charles. Joey carried on his choral singing career when he was awarded a choral scholarship to King's College, London, where he studied music and graduated with first class honours. Joey is a lay clerk at St George's Cathedral, Southwark, and regularly sings with the Philharmonia Chorus and consorts around London. Recent opera performances include the European premier of the Brazilian radio opera, The Tram Conductor's Sweetheart, as well as Haydn's Il Mondo della Luna and Bizet's Docteur Miracle. Joey has a particular interest in 20th Century English music.
