Christopher Beaumont is Director of Music at St Nicholas Church, Kenilworth. Before this he held organist and choirmaster posts at the Parish of Birstall and Wanlip in Leicestershire and Queen Street Parish Church, Aberdeen. He studied the organ with Andrew Kristy, Roger Williams MBE and Nigel Allcoat and has participated in masterclasses with David Saint, Christopher Stembridge, Daniel Moult, Nigel Allcoat, Professor David Smith and Gerrard Brooks. He has appeared in concert in venues across the UK including the Cathedral Church of St Andrew, Aberdeen; King's College, Aberdeen; Bridlington Priory; Doncaster Minster; Blenheim Palace and Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral. Whilst in Aberdeen, Christopher worked with a number of choirs and ensembles as either conductor or accompanist, playing for Legato voices during their 'St Machar at Six' debut, Stainer's Crucifixion for Caelestis Chamber Choir during their concert in Cults Parish Church, and accompanying Inverurie Choral Society in their 2013 Christmas concert including Haydn's Little Organ Mass. He holds the Licentiate diploma from Trinity College London and is currently working toward the Fellowship diploma.

Christopher studied for a Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Aberdeen where he was the recipient of the David Gordon Memorial Organ Scholarship, a post he held for three years. During his time as the University Organ Scholar he accompanied the chapel choir during their weekly services and acted as Choir music librarian.

In June 2015 Christopher Beaumont took up his present appointment as Director of Music at St Nicholas Church, Kenilworth. At St Nicholas he is responsible for the music that is to be performed within the church services as well as training the choirs. He has also started to initiate a series of concerts within the church by notable young performers.
