He studied piano performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with the distinguished pianist Martino Tirimo. After receiving his Postgraduate Diploma, he became a Trinity College and Stavros Niarchos Scholar, for the Master of Arts course, as an award for being highly committed with remarkable progress. He started playing the piano at the age of 12 with the pianist Eleni Hallecker in his hometown, Athens, and during his piano studies he has been instructed by the pianists Margaret Fingerhut, Pascal Roge, Gabriele Baldocci, Jonathan Plowright, Peter Tuite, Yannis Hallecker, Vladimir Viardo and Douglas Finch.

Apart from his piano studies, Georgios was accepted to study Musicology in the University of Athens, achieving the third highest grade of the department in Panhellenic exams. Through his studies in the university, he was very keen on sound engineering and the physics of sound. Moreover, he was involved in composition and improvisation. He was taught the idioms of Renaissance and Baroque music by the composer Alexandros Dionatos. He learned keyboard Harmony and composition, which helped him develop his improvisation skills in music genres such as Jazz and 20th-century music.
