British Pianist, Phillip Leslie is a first class honours graduate from Trinity Laban and a recipient of the Silver Medal Keyboard Award. Having performed in venues such as Steinway Hall, Reid Concert Hall, St John's Smith Square, St Martin-in-the-Fields, St James's Piccadilly and Pamoja Hall, he has been described as a musician who plays with 'vigor and excitement'.

Numerous accolades for his studies have rewarded him with scholarships from the Arthur Haynes and Helen Roll Charities. Currently, he studies with Trinity Laban's Head of Keyboard, Peter Tuite and Sergio De Simone. He has studied with renowned pedagogues including Martino Tirimo, Philip Fowke and Margaret Fingerhut. Phillip draws further inspiration having worked with leading pianists such as Leon McCawley, Boris Petruchansky, Pascal Rogé, Antti Siirala and Johnathan Plowright. He has a growing interest in the British repertoire, and his interpretations have been expressed by a critic'...responding to the virtuosic nature of this music with a full-bodied sound, transparent passagework and clarity of expression.'

He has been a finalist the John Longmire Piano Competition, the Elisabeth Schumann Duo Lieder Competition and a semi-finalist in the Jacques Samuel Intercollegiate Piano Competition. In 2017, he received the Weingarten Prize for Piano and the Angela Rinsler award at the finals of EPTA Piano Competition. Phillip was interviewed on BBC Radio in 2016 and toured the Isle of Wight twice with BYOSE. Currently, Phillip is a Concordia Foundation Artist and regular recitalist across the UK.
