Welsh baritone Ben Watkins graduated from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in 2015 and he continues his studies with David Pollard. Ben's stage roles include Silvio, Bartley, Eugene Onegin, Tonio and Alfio (covers in Cavalleria Rusticana/ Pagliacci) for Kentish Opera. Most recently Ben performed the role of Jake Wallace in Fanciulla del West (Short works) for Wexford Festival Opera. A keen recitalist, Ben recently took part in the 2017 London Song Festival masterclass with Sophie Daneman and the 2018 masterclass with Ann Murray in the Machynlleth Music Festival under the directorship of Julius Drake. Exciting future plans include performing his first Die schöne Müllerin, as well as singing the role of Fleville for Midsummer Opera's production of Andrea Chenier later this month.

Pianist JongSun Woo has performed in venues such as Wigmore Hall, Purcell Room, St John's Smith Square, West Road Concert Hall in Cambridge and has appeared as a soloist with various London orchestras. JongSun started her studies with Patsy Toh at the Junior Royal Academy of Music and the Purcell School. After graduating from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with First Class Honours in 2014, she then went on to win a full scholarship to study with Peter Serkin at Bard College Conservatory, USA. At the Prussia Cove International Musicians' Seminar in 2016 and 2017, she has received guidance from Ferenc Rados, Rita Wagner, Krysia Osostowicz, Susan Tomes, Richard Lester and Robert Levin among others.
