Young Stationers go Brides-to-Brighton for the St Bride's Spire

brides_brighton.jpgA group of Young Stationers and other friends of St Bride's, taking advantage of the splendid weather, will be cycling 'Bride's to Brighton' on Sunday the 21st April, to help raise funds and publicity for the church's INSPIRE! Appeal and badly needed restoration work to Wren's spire.

They are very keen for your support! Cyclists of all abilities (and none!) are incredibly welcome to have a go. For those of you minded to support them, they have a Bride's to Brighton fundraising page on JustGiving, and there is also a Facebook page for you to follow.

They will meet in their spandex in the Churchyard at 8 am for bacon butties served up by Churchwarden (and Stationers' Liveryman) Peter Silver.  A great number of family members - some as young as 12 years old - of Churchwarden (and Stationers' Under Warden) Ian Locks will be pedalling along, too! Once in Brighton, they will partake in a splendid pub lunch, and return back either by pedalling or by train.

Do please support them - and the St Bride's spire - with a few pennies if you can!
