Shoe Box Appeal

Sunday Club's Cake Stall raising money to fill shoe boxes.

Since 1991 Computers for Charities, through their networks in communities here and in Eastern Europe, have been distributing Christmas shoeboxes to all those in need. They do not discriminate against any group or individual and they work with many church and religious groups, refugee shelters, homeless shelters, community nurse groups, children's hospices and young carers associations.

This year St Bride's Sunday Club has decided that they would like the shoebox appeal to benefit children closer to home. We will therefore be working with CfC to distribute the shoeboxes to groups in the UK ensuring that as many children as possible are able to enjoy Christmas in a way they wouldn't without our help.

We ask that all shoeboxes are standard size and contain no sharp items. Please leave them unsealed and indicate which age group and gender they are best suited for.

Most of all remember that if you think your children would be excited to open the box on Christmas Day so will those we are trying to help.

All boxes will need to be at St Bride's by Sunday 22nd November in order to be distributed in time for Christmas.

Many thanks for all your support. Any questions please ask Charlotte Locks.
