ITV report on the fascinating history beneath St Bride's

St Bride's may be renowned for its tiered, "wedding cake" spire but there is a wealth of history to explore on the site.

ITV News recently broadcast an item featuring the crypt of St Bride's in its 'Under London' series.

Reporter Martin Stew was taken on a guided tour by the Rector, Canon Alison Joyce, giving him a glimpse of the extraordinary story that lies underneath our church -  a story that spans two thousand years of London history.

From the remains of a Roman pavement, to an iron casket dating back to the days of the infamous 'Body Snatchers', by way of a mediaeval charnel house ... it is all here at St Bride's!
