"You must love God with all your heart" (Mark 12: 30)

This is the greatest commandment of all, but the most misunderstood. We don't have to turn our backs on the world and give up everything in order to love God. We can love God through the people and the things of this world. Loving God is all about doing little things with great love. Small acts every day add up to a generous and loving heart.

Lord God, help me to love you in the people I meet and the things that I do so that by small actions I may come to love you more fully and generously. Amen.
