St Bride's: Listen Online

Good Friday: An hour at the foot of the Cross

Good Friday: An hour at the foot of the Cross

This service will be released here on Friday 02 April at 1:00PM .

This central section of our Good Friday observance this year is a reflection on the Passion narrative in St Mark's Gospel, explored through words and music, focussing on three of its famous sayings: 'Are you the King of the Jews?'; 'My God, my God, why have your forsaken me?'; and, 'Truly this man was the Son of God.'

This as-live video is for those who cannot make it to church in person and features specially recorded versions of the same readings, prayers and sermon which would be heard in church, together with wonderful, music from our extensive archive of live recordings of St Bride's Choir. Our thanks also to congregant Mary Cohen for her musical contributions to this service.

Join us for the second hour of our Good Friday Three Hours' Devotion, 2nd April 2021 at 1pm.
