The Artists

Duo Trésor is an exciting new London-based Guitar and Viola Duo. They have performed recitals in concert series across the UK and France. As their combination of instrument is unusual, their ambition is to expand the repertoire for their instruments by commissioning new works from composers. This has led them to commission a new piece from composer Nimrod Borenstein which they hope will be the first in a much longer series of commissions.

Agnès Chauvet started learning the guitar whilst studying International Relations at the University of St Andrews. She has since studied privately with renowned teachers such as Graham Devine, René Izquierdo and Professor Allan Neave. She has performed as part of various chamber ensembles in the UK, France, Switzerland and the US.

After a first degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics in the UK, Rosie Kilian spent a further four years studying viola with Professor Matthias Maurer at the Kunstuniversität Graz in Austria. Rosie has played principal viola for the Oxford University Philharmonia, Oxford University Sinfonietta and orchestra of the Kunstuniversität Graz and has recorded for Austrian national radio.
