On Wednesday, 9th September 2015, at 11:30am a service of thanksgiving for the life of John Charles Noyce was held at St Bride's Church, Fleet Street.

The Revd Canon Dr Alison Joyce delivered the bidding:-

We are here to honour the memory and to give thanks for the life of John Noyce - a man who was much loved by those who knew him and worked alongside him, and whose life was so tragically cut short by his final illness. It is always hard to say farewell to someone who died so young, and with so much still to live for. So it is important that today we celebrate his life, and give thanks for all that he has meant to us and for all that he was.

14 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The choir & organist of St Bride's performed the following anthems and songs:-

Psalm 121 - Walford Davies

And I Saw A New Heaven - Bainton

Dancing Queen - Andersson/Ulvaeus arr. Morley
