Choral Evensong with Sermon in Music – Second Sunday before Lent
Choral Evensong is one of the glories of traditional Anglican worship and the nation’s cultural heritage. All are welcome to attend this beautiful and reflective weekly event.
The service is peaceful and prayerful, steeped in history and tradition and full of wonderful music which is performed by our professional St Bride’s Choir and organist. It lasts under one hour.
Instead of a spoken sermon, this service features a Sermon in Music sung by the choir – an extended piece or pieces of music on a relevant theme.
