St Bride’s Church, with the whole Church of Christ, is committed to the safeguarding, care and nurture of everyone within our church community.
We further commit ourselves to following legislation, guidance and recognised good practice, in this area.
The Parochial Church Council considers safeguarding matters at every meeting; in addition, the Council annually reviews our Parish Safeguarding Policy and undertakes a Parish Safeguarding Audit.
Safeguarding is also a standing agenda item at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting.
If you have any concerns regarding the welfare of anyone who might be at risk in our parish please contact either the Rector or email the Church Safeguarding Officer (Lucy Nutt safeguarding@stbrides.com).
If the person is at risk of immediate danger you should dial 999. The Diocesan Safeguarding Concerns flowchart can be found at this link: Diocese of London Safeguarding concerns flowchart.
