The Artists
Ankit Tripathi is a violinist from Latvia currently studying at the Royal College of Music in London under Sasha Rozhdestvensky. Alongside his studies at the RCM, he receives regular lessons from Kirill Troussov. Ankit has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in Latvia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Austria and Italy. His recent performances have taken place at venues including Westminster Cathedral Hall and St Mary-at-Hill in London, St Peter’s Church in Riga, and the Column Hall of the Museum of the History of Riga and Navigation.
He is a prize-winner of several international competitions in Latvia, Lithuania, Spain and France, and a two-time recipient of the VIVAT Future Foundation Scholarship. Through his participation in international academies and festivals across Europe, including the Troussov Academies, Ankit has received guidance from musicians including Lihay Bendayan, Christian Altenburger, Marc Bouchkov, Pierre Amoyal and Eszter Haffner.
Sabina Suciu, born in 2004, is currently studying at the Royal College of Music in London under the guidance of Professor Dmitri Alexeev and Assistant Professor Vitaly Pisarenko. From 2018 to 2019, she studied at the Mozarteum Salzburg Pre-College in Austria with Professor Georg Steinschaden. In 2019, she was accepted as a Student in Residence at the prestigious Verbier Festival Academy. In 2021, she was awarded a scholarship to attend the Sonoro Montepulciano Chamber Music Academy, where she studied under the guidance of Diana Ketler.
She has participated in numerous masterclasses with distinguished artists, including Jan Jiracek von Arnim, Christian Pohl, Grigory Gruzman, Diana Ketler, Florian Mitrea, Andrei Diev, Klaus Hellwig, Ferenc Rados, Pedja Muzijevic, Philippe Raskin and Albert Mamriev.
