The Artists

Angie Okano is a Japanese-American cellist based in London, with a Bachelor of Music from the Royal College of Music. She has studied under renowned cellists, Nathaniel Rosen and Raphael Wallfisch.

Angie has won multiple awards, including the Jury Award at the Tokyo International Association of Artists and the Elan Award for leadership. She has performed at prestigious venues like Suntory Hall and Royal Albert Hall, and teaches music, mentoring students of all ages at Hounslow Music Service and local primary schools.

Steven Neugarten is a versatile pianist and sometime celesta, synthesizer and harpsichord player with a degree in Physics from Bristol University. He’s performed with notable musicians including Thomas Adès, Alison Balsom, Raphael Wallfisch, and in prestigious venues such as the Barbican and Wigmore Hall. His repertoire spans William Byrd to contemporary composers, comprising chamber music, songs and piano concertos. He works at the major London music institutions – GSMD, RAM, RCM, TrinityLaban – and performs at events like the Swaledale Festival, Venice Biennale and as part of the team providing Christmas music at the Ritz Hotel.

He has twice run the London Marathon.
