The Artists
Boyan Ivanov is a versatile and virtuosic Bulgarian-British clarinettist, who has enjoyed considerable success as a solo, chamber and orchestral musician, performing at some of the world’s most prestigious venues including the Barbican Centre, Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, Cadogan Hall, Kings Place and St John’s Smith Square.
In April 2023, Boyan Ivanov was honoured to be an assistant of the legendary British clarinettist Andrew Marriner in a masterclass held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Boyan and Andrew performed Krommer’s Concerto for Two Clarinets and Orchestra, Op 35 No 1 and Mendelssohn’s Konzertstück, Op 114 No 2, as soloists with the Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra, in the closing concert of the course. In 2025, Boyan was invited to play with the Bulgarian National Symphony Orchestra – Sofia Philharmonic – as guest principal clarinet in the orchestra’s tour in China.
Pinar Çelik Warsi has performed many solo and chamber music recitals in the UK, Turkey and Europe including the Istanbul International Music Festival, the International Interfest Bitola Music Festival; also in Istanbul’s important venues such as Cemal Resid Rey Concert Hall, Is Sanat Concert Hall, Ataturk Cultural Centre, Austrian Cultural Centre and Sureyya Opera House as well as Steinway Haus in Dusseldorf. In 2024, Pinar premiered Yalcin Tura’s piano concerto with the London Chamber Orchestra in the Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall at London’s Royal College of Music.
She has participated in international competitions, winning 2nd prize in the 3rd Interfest Bitola International Piano Competition and 3rd prize in the 7th Shabhyt-Inspiration International Chamber Music Competition in Astana.
Pinar lives in London, teaches piano privately and at the Rachmaninoff Academy of Music and perfoms solo and chamber music concerts.
