Amidst the whirl of excitement of Christmas morning, take time to reflect on the wonder and hope that the birth of Christ brings to us all.
Christmas morning with its stockings, presents, and the burgeoning aromas of a wonderful Christmas dinner can be the most exciting and hectic of the year, but it is so important that we take the time to reflect on what it is that we are celebrating.
Our Family Communion Service at 11:00am on Christmas Day is an integral part of the Christmas festivities for many of our congregation members and visitors, as we celebrate the coming of the Prince of Peace and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.
The service is open to all, like all our services, and free to attend. We request that you register please to reserve your place, if you are able. This helps us manage numbers and enables us to keep you updated about the service.
Setting: Communion Service in F – Harold Darke
Sermon: The Revd Canon Dr Alison Joyce, Rector of St Bride’s
Anthem: Nativity Carol – John Rutter
Organ Voluntary: Rhapsodie sur des Noëls – Eugene Gigout
