The Camerata Choir of City of London School & City of London School for Girls is the highest-level choral ensemble across the City Schools Group. The choir was established in the summer of 2024, with their first performance at St Giles Cripplegate, in the ‘Summer Music in City Churches’ festival. In October 2024, they toured abroad to sing Duruflé’s Requiem at the American Cathedral in Paris, alongside the professional French vocal group Vox 21. Throughout the year, they have sung Choral Evensong at various London churches, such as the Charterhouse Chapel, and alongside the King’s College London Chapel Choir in their Strand Chapel. In October 2025, the Camerata Choir returned to France to perform music by Jean Langlais in Lille Cathedral. The choir is directed by Richard Quesnel, and made up of pupils aged 14-18.
