Shakespeare ’n’ Love

Join St Bride’s Choir and a host of actors, as we celebrate Shakespeare and the season of love with a Valentine tableau of The Bard’s words, together with music from composers including Shakespeare's contemporaries Weelkes and Morley, to Bernstein and Porter.

The evening culminates with a performance of Vaughan Williams' Serenade to Music which sets words from a scene in Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice where lovers sit under the stars, enchanted by the music of the spheres!
