Evening Standard staff who died in the First and Second World Wars will be remembered at a service in St Bride’s Church on Friday 10th November.
The names of the 36 staffers who died in the 1914-18 war and the 22 who died in the 1939-45 war will be read out in the chapel at St Bride’s with a short service.
Poppy wreaths are laid at the service by representatives of the company including Managing Director Rich Mead, Editor Emeritus Doug Wills and Head of Operations & Distribution Sian George.
The service will be conducted by St Bride’s Assistant Priest The Revd Steve Morris supported by Head Verger Robin Turner.
A book of remembrance is on permanent display next to the Crypt Chapel altar.
