The Artists
Jenefer Fraser graduated from Leeds College of Music and is now undertaking the highly-regarded MMus in Performance at the University of Leeds. She has won multiple competitions and awards, including the LUUMS String Orchestra Concerto Competition 2025, 2nd prize in the Royal Maas International Competition 2025, a was a semi-finalist in the London Concerto Competition 2025. Jen studies with Alena Walentin, Carla Rees and Luke O’Toole, and has attended masterclasses with Trevor Wye, Wissam Boustany, Helen Vidovich and Peter Lloyd.
Jen has performed as a soloist in Israel and Holland and at venues across the UK, including Leeds Art Gallery, Ripon, Wakefield and Lincoln Cathedrals, Hexham Abbey, the Universities of Leeds, York and Leicester and at Buxton Opera House where she performed the Ibert Flute Concerto with orchestral backing. As a chamber and orchestral musician she has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Festival Hall and Chatsworth and Harewood Houses. Jen is currently performing as a soloist at venues across England, including St Mary le Strand, WC2, St Paul’s Church, Bedford, and Lincoln, Worcester, Wakefield and Ripon Cathedrals, and Otley Courthouse.
Jonathan Lilley studied at the Royal Academy of Music, gaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Organists whilst still a first year. After graduating he became Sub-Organist of Leeds Minster and repetiteur at Leeds College of Music. Since 2013 he has been Director of Music at Waltham Abbey, Essex.
Jonathan’s career highlights include Poulenc’s organ concerto on a live broadcast on BBC Radio and a number of improvised silent film accompaniments. He maintains a freelance career as an accompanist, having been a go-to person for tricky piano accompaniments since his teens.
This year he is accompanying English Arts Chorale on tour, performing organ versions of Le Tombeau de Couperin and Bolero for Ravel’s 150th anniversary year and releasing Stanford’s Bible Songs on YouTube with Laurence Williams.
