The Artist
At the age of five, Singaporean pianist Jun-Hwei Lim embarked on a musical journey under the guidance of his father, Kee-Poh Lim, a distinguished graduate of the Aaron Copland School of Music, New-York, and a protégé of eminent pianists including Gerald Robbins & Morey Ritt.
Currently, at 25, Jun-Hwei is honing his craft at Trinity Laban Conservatoire under the mentorship of Pascal Rogé and Deniz Arman Gelenbe. He has had the privilege of studying with acclaimed pianists, including Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, Niklas Pokki and Dr Enrico Elisi.
Jun-Hwei was a finalist in the 2024 ‘Alfred Kitchin’ Schubert competition and has given concerts at Bechstein Hall, Penshurst Church, Waltham Abbey Church and St Pancras Euston.
