The Artists
Marta Molodynska-Wheeler – Pianist, chamber musician, composer, synesthete, a lecturer at the Academy of Music in Kraków as well as piano and improvisation teacher at the Secondary Music School in Kraków. She has been awarded the title of Certified Piano Teacher and scholarships from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. She has also been honored with the Medal of the National Education Commission, and received the title of Post Doctoral Degree. She has published numerous collections and cycles for solo piano, as well as for four and six hands. She participates in many music festivals in Poland and abroad.
Grzegorz Mania, a graduate of the Academy of Music in Kraków and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, holds a PhD in music and copyright law. He works extensively as a recitalist, soloist and chamber musician, performing internationally. He records regularly and collaborates with violist Katarzyna Budnik, cellist Bartosz Koziak and as a member of the Zarebski Piano Duo. A co-founder of the Polish Chamber Musicians’ Association, Mania has published works on music and authors’ rights, as well as a handbook on sight-reading. He is a professor at the Feliks Nowowiejski Music Academy in Bydgoszcz and serves as artistic director of four chamber music festivals in Poland.
