Memorial: David Martin Jones

A service of thanksgiving for the life of David Martin Jones will take place at St Bride’s Church, on Thursday 17th October at 11:30am.

Raised in Cardiff, Jones studied for an MA in History in Canada, completed his PhD in London, taught in Singapore, in Tasmania and then at the University of Queensland and, more recently, worked as Research Director at the Danube Institute in Budapest.

He wrote or co-wrote a number of books on the ideological upheavals of the 17th and 20th centuries and contributed regularly to publications such as The Australian and The Spectator.
