The Artists

The Nex³ Trio is an innovative and dynamic brass ensemble, made up of soon-to-be graduates of the Royal College of Music. As a group, they have already made a significant impact on the UK’s brass chamber music scene, winning First Prize at the 2025 RCM Brass Chamber Competition.

With a commitment to pushing the boundaries of brass chamber music, Nex³ explores a diverse repertoire, from classic works to innovative contemporary pieces, with programmes often featuring new commissions written specifically for their virtuosic style. Their engaging performances and fresh approach continues to captivate audiences, establishing them as one of the most exciting emerging brass ensembles in the UK.

Individually, the members of Nex³ are accomplished orchestral musicians, regularly performing with some of the UK’s leading ensembles, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonia, London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Glyndebourne Sinfonia, Covent Garden Sinfonia, Southbank Sinfonia, National Symphony Orchestra, London Concert Orchestra and Oxford Philharmonic. Their collective experience brings a unique depth and versatility to their performances, seamlessly blending technical brilliance with expressive musicality.
