The Artist
Violinist Kwan-Lam Lau is currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music in the class of Professor HU Kun, and previously graduated from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Kwan-Lam was awarded the title of ‘Hong Kong Scholar’, as well as the Henry Wood Accommodation Trust and the Royal Philharmonic Society Instrument Purchase Grants 2016 supported by the Sir John Barbirolli Memorial Foundation. Apart from scholarship support, Kwan-Lam would like to thank the Royal Academy of Music for the generous loan of the Bolognese violin, c. 1760. This recital was recorded at Angela Burgess Recital Hall, Royal Academy of Music on 28th November 2021.
