The Artist

Veronica Henderson studied music at St Catharine’s College, Cambridge, and then specialised in the cello at the Royal Academy of Music in London with David Strange. She continued her cello studies with Joan Dickson and William Pleeth. Solo work has taken her to Switzerland and Belgium, where she travelled to promote ‘Lieder der Liebe’, a work by Carl Rütti for solo cello and choir, with Cambridge Voices. Concerto performances have included Dvořák, Elgar, Haydn’s C major, Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations, Shostakovich, and Beethoven’a Triple Concerto.

Elizabeth Mucha has lived and worked in Europe, the Americas and the Far East. In addition to her playing, Elizabeth has devised several programmes, including ‘Music Travels’, a musical travelogue inspired by her experiences in so many different cultures and countries. Her most recent project is ‘Art Sung’, which comes from her passion to bring together music, art and narrative. This has been presented at the London Song Festival in 2018, 2019 and 2021.
