Pam Kijoran is a Thai pianist currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the Royal Northern College of Music under the tutelage of Professor Graham Scott, having previously studied with Alexandra Dariescu. During her undergraduate studies, she won the Chopin Prize, the Mark Ray Piano Recital Prize, and the Marjorie Clementi Memorial Prize. Her competition successes include first prize at the Singapore International Piano Competition, the Kawai-Thailand ASEAN Piano Competition, the Steinway Piano Competition Thailand, and the 14th Osaka International Music Competition. In 2017, she released her debut album, Bangkok Recital, with KNS Classical. Pam has received masterclasses with renowned pianists such as Roberto Plano, Dame Imogen Cooper, Boris Kraljevic, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Vanessa Latarche and Pascal Nemirovski.
As a chamber musician, Pam is a member of the NeoElysian Trio, an ensemble specialising in 20th- and 21st-century repertoire that won the Brodsky Chamber Prize at the RNCM. She also performs regularly as an accompanist and was awarded the RNCM’s Alexander Young Piano Prize for Accompaniment. In addition to performing, Pam is actively involved in music education, having previously taught piano at Alma Park Primary School and assisted with One Education Music’s programme at Chorlton High School. Pam is also passionate about using music to support health and wellbeing. She has volunteered with String of Hearts, an organisation that connects older adults through music in healthcare settings and home visits, supporting individuals who are socially isolated or unable to leave their homes due to health conditions. She has also played at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust.
Pam graduated with a First-Class BMus (Hons) from the Royal Northern College of Music in 2026, supported generously by the Ian Scott Award and the Reggie and Ann Dennis Award. She is currently completing her Master’s degree in piano performance as a full scholarship recipient.
