Winner of the 2018 Royal Over-Seas League String Competition, violinist Emmanuel Bach has performed as a co-soloist in Bach’s Double Concerto with Anne-Sophie Mutter, toured South Africa and broadcast as a soloist and chamber musician on BBC Radio 3. Maxim Vengerov described his playing of the Brahms Concerto as ‘a superb rendition…a very deep and emotional performance’.

Emmanuel was a Countess of Munster Trust Recital Scheme Artist 2017–20 and is currently supported by Talent Unlimited. A dedicated chamber musician, Emmanuel attended the Yale Summer School of Chamber Music. He has also coached young musicians at Pro Corda Chamber Music Academy, as a Leverhulme Fellow. Emmanuel studied at Magdalen College, Oxford, gaining a double First. He then took a Master’s and Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music, studying with Natasha Boyarsky and Radu Blidar.

Emmanuel is grateful for support from the HR Taylor Trust, Drapers’ Company and Tompkins Tate Trust. A forthcoming recital CD is planned in collaboration with Willowhayne Records.
