The Artist

Inga Liukaitytė is a Lithuanian pianist based in the UK. Praised for the rich colours, intelligence and precision of her performances, she is active as a soloist, chamber musician and teacher.

Inga has won prizes in international piano competitions in the UK, Italy, Czech Republic, Romania, Greece, France and Lithuania. Her most recent success was winning the 1st prize at the competition ‘Music without limits’ in Lithuania last year. Among her honours are commendations for her international musical achievements from Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus and the Mayor of her hometown, Kaunas.

Inga has performed in prestigious venues such as the Barbican Hall in London, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and on the Edinburgh Fringe. She regularly gives solo and chamber recitals in churches around the UK including St James’s Piccadilly, St Mary’s Perivale, Southwark Cathedral.

As a Live Music Now! artist, Inga enjoys undertaking a wide range of outreach work: her ensemble, the Turner Duo, has performed at Chelsea and Westminster, University College, and West Middlesex hospitals, St Christopher’s Hospice, as well as care homes and community centres around London. Inga has also delivered interactive performances for children in London and Peterborough. This year, she gave a performance and led master classes for the students at Vytautas Magnus University Music Academy in Lithuania.
