The Artist
Based in both London and Manchester, two of the UK’s most exciting and vibrant cities, Lewis Kingsley Peart enjoys a busy life as a working musician. Organising projects as both soloist and collaborator, he programmes a wide variety of music from the traditional classical canon, right through to jazz and the avant-garde. With a strong background in theatre, his appearances are never without verve.
Lewis is a Chetham’s School of Music alumnus and graduate of London’s Trinity Laban Conservatoire where he studied with Philip Fowke and Alisdair Hogarth.
‘Not only technically but theatrically a real tour de force! I was thrilled by his performance at every level.’ – Stephen Montague, composer
‘Chopinesque melodic interjections and Lisztian extravagance, all masterfully and very wittily handled by Lewis Kingsley Peart.’ – Frances Wilson, The Cross-Eyed Pianist
