The Artist
Manuel Ramos started playing the piano at the age of six in the Municipal School of Musical Education in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. In 2010, he started at the Professional Conservatory of Music in Las Palmas. He studied with Emilio Tabraue El Jaber and had private lessons with Galyna Neporozhnya. In 2015, he finished Middle Grade of Music with special distinction in piano and won several prizes.
He obtained the 2nd prize of the 2nd edition of the Fundación MAPFRE Guanarteme-IBF Competition, which was organized by renowned members of Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra from Amsterdam and Philharmonic Orchestra of Gran Canaria. He was awarded with two prizes in the 6th International Piano Competition ‘Grand Klavier’ Ciudad de Alcalá, whose president of jury was the renowned piano professor Galina Eguiazarova.
In 2019, he finished his Bachelor of Music with outstanding marks in piano and chamber music. His piano and chamber music’s professors have been Miguel Ángel Ortega Chavaldas and Quiroga Quartet respectively in the Superior Conservatory of Music in Aragon (Zaragoza, Spain). He is currently studying for a Master of Performance with Professor Dina Parakhina and Professor Dinara Klinton at the Royal College of Music in London.
