Come and enjoy a concert with The Chapel Choir of Selwyn College, Cambridge to launch their latest album.
It will be exactly one year to the day since the choir recorded Love Illuminates in Ely Cathedral and they are delighted to share this album and celebrate the anniversary.
The album is the first recording devoted to the sacred choral music of award-winning Scottish composer Joanna Gill, who studied Composition under royal composer Paul Mealor. Gill then moved to London to continue her studies in Composition for Film and Television at Kingston University.
Her music has been performed by the BBC Singers, on BBC Radio 3, and in many prestigious venues including London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Gill is at home writing both choral and symphonic music, and has a natural ability to capture a range of moods and styles in one piece.
This promises to be an evening of sublime choral music conducted by Sarah MacDonald and includes favourites from the album.
