The Artists

A collaborative concert between Duo Fabulae and Reinecke Piano Trio, replacing the previously advertised recital owing to the indisposition of a member of the Jubilee String Quartet.

Yvain Calvo is finishing his Master’s degree in piano performance at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. He has an active performance career both as a soloist and chamber musician. Performances include the Oxford Philharmonic Friends’ Evening, the Sands Film Music Room series opening and recording at Abbey Road Studios.

Lorena Cantó is a classical violist based in London and member of the Jubilee String Quartet, Duo Mirage and Duo Fabulae. She has performed in venues such as the Berlin Konzerthaus and Wigmore Hall, as well as appearing on BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’, Classic FM and Radio Clásica (Spain).

Leonardo Pinho completed his Bachelor’s Degree at Academia Nacional Superior de Orquestra (Lisbon, Portugal) in 2019 and is now finishing his Master’s at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Leonardo won 3rd prize at the ‘Terras de La-salette’ International Wind Contest (2019).

Cara Doyle has just finished her bachelor studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, studying with James Burke. Some of her most enjoyable experiences were with Guildhall’s UBU (the contemporary music ensemble) and working with young composers on new compositions. Cara hopes to carry on exploring the world of contemporary music as well as expanding her classical repertoire.
