Vicki first came to St Bride’s as a PhD student, analysing skeletons in the crypt for her thesis on the archaeology of obesity in eighteenth and early-nineteenth century London. As with so many who come through St Bride’s doors, she then utterly failed to leave, drawn by the beautiful music and welcoming community. She has been a member of the Guild of St Bride since 2015, and both joined the Guild Court and was appointed churchwarden in 2026.
Vicki is a research data steward in the Department of Advanced Research Computing at University College London, supporting researchers across the university to do better, more open, research, and collaborating on and leading research projects, primarily in health (although she still loves working on archaeology projects when she has the chance!).
In her remaining spare time she enjoys all things related to food, visiting art galleries and museums and perpetually trying to catch-up with reading an ever-growing pile of books.
She is married to Jean-Michel, also a member of the Guild, and they have a son, who was baptised at the church.
