Roman Rudnytsky is an American concert pianist of Ukrainian background whose performances take him all over the world. A graduate of the Juilliard School in New York, he has played in 100 countries. This includes many concerts in the UK over the years:  in various cities and towns, in the Scillies, Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands, soloist with three BBC orchestras plus the Worthing and Sussex Symphony Orchestras, and recitals on about 70 cruises of P&O and Cunard ships, going back to the old Oriana and the Canberra. He did the UK premiere performance in 1990 with the Worthing Symphony Orchestra of the then newly-discovered Liszt Concerto No. 3 in E Flat.

Roman Rudnytsky has been soloist with many orchestras around the world, playing nearly 50 different works for piano and orchestra. He is prizewinner of ten international and national piano competitions and has played in 35 countries through the auspices of US Embassies as part of their 'public diplomacy' activities.

In 2019, his performances included concerts in the USA, on the Pacific islands of Guam and Saipan, in Chile (10th tour), and in Australia (21st tour - 20 concerts). In addition, in the autumn he played recitals on two cruises of the Queen Mary 2 and one cruise of P&O's Aurora. 2020 concerts include recitals in the UK in February, on Guam and Saipan in March, in New Zealand (14th tour) in April, in Alaska and elsewhere in the USA in May, and in Central America in June.  Later in 2020, he will be playing recitals on the Queen Mary 2 and Aurora again.

Roman Rudnytsky is also 'Professor Emeritus' of the Dana School of Music of Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio, where he was also on the piano faculty for many years.
