Memorial: Gwen Robinson

A service of thanksgiving for the life of Gwen Robinson will take place at St Bride’s Church, the Journalists’ Church, on Thursday 4th September at 11:30am.

Gwen Robinson was senior editor and foreign correspondent for the Financial Times for nearly 20 years. She was born in Japan, educated in Australia and spent her working life in, amongst other countries, UK, USA, the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand.

After stints at Nikkei Weekly and The Times in the early 1990s, Robinson held many roles at the FT, including foreign desk editor, comment editor and finally Bangkok bureau chief, before becoming editor-in-chief of Nikkei Asia, an English language website and magazine, in 2013.
